Sunday School Christian instruction for 3-year-olds through adults is offered. The study and application of the Bible for daily living is taught from the earliest grades to the older children, teens, and adults. Adult Education A variety of adult education opportunities are offered each year, including verse-by-verse study of scripture and topics relating to Christian living. Small Group Bible Study A number of small groups meet in homes for Bible study, fellowship, and mutual support. They help us grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and strengthen the body of the Church. Men's Prayer & Study Two men's groups meet each week for support, study, and sharing. Women's Prayer & Study Martha Circle meets every second Tuesday for study, support, and service. Discovery Women meet each Wednesday evening for study, prayer, and support. Family Night (Sept. through March) Family Night begins each Wednesday with a suppertime meal that includes fellowship and family devotions. Family Night is for 4-year-olds through adults, offering time for Bible learning for children of the church and community. Classes for 4's through 6th grade seek to teach by active participation. Nursery Provided. Music Instrumental (string, wind, percussion, organ) and vocal (Praise team, solo, and choir) Youth Olivet has programs for junior and senior high, including Bible studies, support groups, service projects and recreational events. Kids Hope USA A ministry to at-risk children at East Elementary school. Emergency Housing Short term housing for people or families in need. Refugee Ministry Sponsorship and support for refugees from around the world. Mission Trips Olivet has been to such places as Mexico, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Russia, Ecuador, the Congo, Malawi, and Zambia. Rose Buddies Is a ministry of friendship and encouragement to lonely elderly residents at The Rose Garden Homes. |
